Poll: which innovations do you like the best?

OK dokie, time for my first poll.  Yep, I admit I’m a fan of new skills and new approaches to how MMOs work.  With that in mind, I came up with a short list of innovations and I’d like to know your thoughts on them and add some of your own.

  1. Most of those features are, I would say, signs of good ‘modern MMO’ design. I appreciate in particular the lack of tapping and the individual gathering nodes in GW2, it’s hard to go back to old-school competition in other games with anything other than a weary resignation. I do really like crafting from the bank too, whether the GW2 or SWTOR variety.

  2. Yes, I agree, all features of modern MMO designs…without them I feel like it’s a step backwards to 2004 EQ/WOW days. On the individual gathering nodes, the only downside I see is that the market is flooded with these gathering materials…but is cheap gathering materials that you don’t have to pay for really a huge problem?
